Nitterhouse Concrete Products is now hiring the following positions.
Now Hiring for:
Accountant
Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Confirm daily production
· Assist with month end close out procedures
· Perform monthly budget analysis on active jobs
· Assist Plant Managers with month end inventory counts and perform monthly inventory adjustments
· Assist Estimating Department with cost management within our estimating program
· Assist with journal entries and general ledger preparation
· Backup to accounts payable and receivable
· Assist Controller wherever else possible
· Active involvement in the ongoing effort to reduce production costs
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
· Accounting experience preferred, particularly in a manufacturing environment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
· Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
· Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
